We can design and build you a non-profit making¹ web-site using Apache, Perl CGI (or PHP), and MySQL or Oracle database on a Unix/Linux platform² for a nominal fee. We will only use JavaScript, Cookies, Frames, and animations if instructed to do so, and aim to build sites that are easily moved between hosting sites. We may be able to offer to perform all the administration and regular maintenance of your site, including provision of the hosting facilities (database, disk space, database backups, etc., but excluding domain ownership fees), for an annual fee of approximately GBP 50. With certain restrictions we can produce a Windows based solution, indeed much of our development and testing is done under Windows. But for security, reliability, and portability, we recommend Unix or Linux.
